Overview:
During the Taishou era in Japan, Asako, a strict and protective older sister, always looked after her younger sister, Hiroko. When Hiroko is proposed to by a military man who is reportedly only looking for a wife for the sake of offspring, Asako is worried that her sister's health condition will not be able to face the task. With great courage, Asako offered to replace her sister as the prospective groom even though she had no problem marrying a man she didn't love.
